Home Furniture’s Price Guarantee:
In the event the merchandise purchased on this purchase contract is offered for sale at a lower price within 14 days of its purchase, Home Furniture will issue a refund to the original purchaser in an amount equal to the difference between the original purchase price (less taxes) and the lower purchase price. Provided that: 1) the lower price is a retail price based on the same terms; including warranty, offered by an authorized dealer located within a 80 mile radius of the Home Furniture store at which the merchandise was purchased. (Lower prices that result from a manufacturer’s rebate program are not covered by this guarantee nor does this apply to merchandise not readily available for immediate purchase and delivery, floor samples, demo models, one of a kind models, limited quantity offers, close-outs or discontinued models.) 2) Written proof (e.g. newspaper ad, formal signed offer), which can be independently verified, is provided substantiating, a) that the lower price is a retail price offered to the general public and b) the lower priced product is new, undamaged and unmarred and is packaged in the manufacturer’s original packing, 3) the original purchaser presents the original unaltered Home Furniture sales receipt for the merchandise; and 4) no more than one refund will be issued. The issuance of a refund shall terminate all responsibility of Home Furniture under this price guarantee.
Home Furniture’s Special Order Policy:
All special orders are Non-cancelable. No exceptions.
A minimum down payment of 25% is required on special orders. Furniture special orders take up to 12 weeks and some may exceed that. Availability is estimated according to information on hand at the time the order is written. Actual availability may vary from this estimate. Buyer agrees that changes in availability will not invalidate the order. The seller shall not be held responsible for delays or defaults in delivery occasioned by wars, strikes, acts of God or the public enemy, fires, labor or transportation difficulties, or other causes beyond the control of the seller.All special order merchandise must be scheduled for delivery or pickup within 14 days of notification that your merchandise is received.
Furniture Orders:
Furniture orders must be paid in full within 90 days of purchase date. If full payment is not made in 90 days, your furniture order will be cancelled and your down payment will be lost. Furniture orders must be received within nine months of the purchase date.
Furniture Service Policy:
Home Furniture will service all product lines sold by us in or out of warranty in our trade area. Picked up items must be brought to our service department. On items requiring repair work beyond the manufacturer’s warranty period, you are responsible for the cost of service parts and labor required to repair your merchandise. If an in-home inspection is required, there is a minimum $40.00 service call fee. If item to be repaired is over one year and needs to be brought back to the store for repair, there is a $30.00 pick-up and $30.00 re-delivery charge. Labor is $40.00 per hour. Except for merchandise bought “As-Is” or “Close-Out”, Home Furniture will service furniture products for repairs which are a result of manufacturing defect in accordance to the manufacturer’s warranty. In-home service is available for items delivered by Home Furniture’s delivery department in our delivery area for the first year. This furniture service policy does not apply to units requiring service due to customer misuse or abuse or to fabric repairs.
Special Orders of Fabric:
All yardage must be paid for in full before we will order it out.
Rescheduling Charge
There is a rescheduling charge if delivery is rescheduled on the day of delivery or if not present at time of delivery.
Errors
Home Furniture reserves the right to correct all clerical errors such as addition, subtractions, and omission.
Terms
All COD deliveries must be paid prior to or on delivery or pickup of the product. No exceptions. If this is not possible, ask about our financing options available.
Warranties
Seller makes no warranties beyond the written description of the goods unless otherwise stated by seller in writing. Seller expressly disclaims any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This disclaimer does not affect manufacturer’s warranties, if any.
